Ans. Any type of use or exploitation of any music which forms a part of the D Records’ music repertoire which includes, inter alia, sound recordings of all songs of Mr. Daler Mehndi.

The abovementioned use or exploitation of D Records’ repertoire would include, without limitation, use of the said music in live events; for sync in advertisements, TV shows, web series; for streaming on any of the online platforms; for use on a radio and television broadcast etc.

Ans. To legally use the music which forms a part of the D Records’ music repertoire, you would require the following licenses:

1. Sound recording license for rights in the entire sound recording as a whole, and
2. Publishing license for rights in the underlying musical and literary works.
