Kya Zamana Tha is a collection of love drenched Ghazals by the legendary Ghazal Maestro of Pakistan “Hussain Baksh Saheb” alias Gullu Hussain Baksh. The album showcases the swiftness of the maestros ability to move through the swaras “a feat that only he is famous for” yet keeping the mood and the feelings of the Ghazal firmly entrenched for the listener. The renditions by the Maestro are sung in his iconic Classical singing style of Patiala Gharana. The Album is a gift to the King of Pop ‘Daler Mehndi’ during his visit to India in year 2000, recorded at Mehndi’s Studio, New Delhi.
