Shaa Ra Ra Ra

Daler Mehndi’s new album Shaa Ra Ra was released on the first week of
September’04. The album , which was released by Daler Mehndi’s own music company D M Music, has nine songs written , composed and performed by Daler Mehndi. It showcases traditional music, fused with western instruments. For the videos, maverick Mehndi has redesigned his signature Maharaja Robes combined with a remix dhoti (a concoction of the traditional dhoti, Patiala Salwar and trousers).

Shooting of Shaa Ra Ra Ra

It is an outdoor video shoot schedule and the city was witnessing its worst and longest –ever rains in recent times on Mother Earth. But Daler Mehndi decided to go ahead with his planned shoot for the title track of his forthcoming album “Shaa Ra Ra Ra”

Mr. Unstoppable swayed to his trademark bhangra beat along with video co-star Rashmi Nigam (who’s also in Popcorn Khao Mast Ho jao).

As he listened to Choreographer Ahmed Khan’s tips, Daler Mehndi says… “By the Grace of God, times have changed and nothing’s gonna stop me now”
